Course Overview
 
This course follows the new Level 4 Award specification, which we developed in conjunction with TQUK.  This qualification is fully regulated by OFQUAL​.  
 
Our new two-phase course now runs over 3 & 1/2 days - you choose the week that suits you from our available course dates. 
 
The first (attendance) phase gets you flying safely and focuses on getting you into the aviator mindset, with fully CAA approved training.  Starting with our A2CofC and GVC ground school and exam, fully insured practical flying lessons on our drones and finally a flying assessment that qualifies you to the CAA's GVC standard. 
 
If you are looking to apply for your own CAA issued PDRA-01 Operational Authorisation, we will also provide your Operations Manual template and support you with direct advice and guidance to ensure your application is successful.   The cost of applying to the CAA for a Specific Category PDRA-01 Operational Authorisation is NOT included in the course price.
 
The second phase's aim is to get the L4 workbook completed - take this away with you on completion of the training to research and complete in your own time.  We will support you to ensure that you are able to complete it successfully.  Once it meets the assessment criteria, TQUK will issue your L4 Award.
