This course now includes all the taught content of the TQUK L4 Award in Unmanned Air Systems (RQF). The TQUK L5 Award for a UAS Operations Manager qualification is more advanced than the L4 but don't let that put you off. We will make sure that you complete everything in this special offer. All the knowledge and flying training you need to fly safely and get awarded your CAA GVC, all the practical application you need to be 'useful' as a drone pilot and all the materials and after course support you need to answer the very detailed L5 workbooks in your own time.
Our key difference is the level of practical 'hands-on' and one-to-one training we provide. This is not an online remote learning course followed by an assessment.
Course Overview
This course follows the newest Level 5 Award specification, which we developed in conjunction with TQUK. This supersedes the previous 'Chief Drone Pilot qualification' and is fully regulated by OFQUAL.
The first phase provides you with the ability to fly safely and operate effectively.

We teach many use many different techniques, including photography, video and covert surveillance techniques, photogrammetry data collection and even include a night flying session so that you can move forward as a capable and confident Remote Pilot.

The second phase's aim is to get your operating at the level of an Operations Manager, lead a team of Remote Pilots, manage a small UAS operation, and to achieve and maintain compliance with CAA regulations in the Open and Specific Category.
